Hot colours for Spring 2020
Spring has sprung! And it's a welcome reinvigoration! 2020 has been a toughie. But these fresh new colours for Spring will certainly brighten your year!
We've scoured the design releases, virtual catwalks and fashion commentary to bring you Miko + Mollie's top picks for Spring colours this year!
Here's the video replay of our live session on instagram and a written recap below!
1. Flame Scarlet
We know. It's red. But all the big fashion editorials and commentators are calling it Flame Scarlet. So it is what it is HAHA!! But it's going to be huge.
But you knew that already because of this, right?
The Acler Thistle Top and Skirt
Yep, you saw it here first. The Acler Thistle set in this season's HOTTEST hue. You need some of this colour in your wardrobe. It's fresh, vibrant and show stopping. And let's face it, we could all do with a BIG pick me up this year.
Camilla also referenced it in her hit print, Dear Brigitte. And we are big, BIG fans!

2. Cornflower blue
An unusual one! Not one that normally tops the hot list but we're LOVING it!
Grab an Apero Embroidered jumper in this season's hot new hue for only $109.05 and be top of the fash pack. It also looks great with Camilla's Festival Express print which has musings of this colour in the background and a a depth of blues and lavenders to complement.

PE Nation is also referencing it in its latest collections and we're LOVING it! Get a pop of this season's hottest hues into your activewear and bring your winter wardrobe kicking and screaming into spring!
3. Sunflower yellow
Not one we see often but yellow is going to be HUGE this season for the designers bold enough to use it. And our very own Aussie brand Camilla did! And it is FIRE. Bravo, Camilla! This dress is absolutely stunning. It's an easy one to walk passed on the rack but try it on and be prepared to fall in love with yourself. That's exactly what happened to me and now I'm dreaming up places and opportunities to wear this! And that's exactly what fashion should do! It should inspire you and enhance your life! And Own Muse does this without even trying!
The stunning Camilla Own Muse CF Split Maxi Dress
If you don't want to go head to toe yellow, add the Own Muse small canvas clutch and scarf scrunchie to your wardrobe to freshen up your fave shorts, jeans, and basic white dresses!
The Camilla Own Muse Clutch and Scrunchie Scarf are the perfect sunflower yellow accessories to inject some spring into your wardrobe
4. Caramel (and neutrals in general)
Neutrals never go out of fashion. But the way they are used gets better and this season the richness has intensified with gorgeous caramels and pops of burgundies, pinks and cherries to really accentuate it. LOVING caramel!
The 2NDSKIN Gemma Joggers in Caramel are just DIVINE
These two brand new prints from Camilla, Liv A Little shown here in the short lace up kaftan, and A Girl Like You, shown here in the reversible bomber jacket, are so on trend
The Camilla Tales of Talitha Sheer Overlay Dress is a spring must have
5. White
It wouldn't be Spring without a fresh all white palette to get us in the mood for the new season, sunshine and Spring smells. And these are some of the best! You can't help but feel feminine and gorgeous in white!
So that's the inside scoop on the trends this Spring! If you want an easy update for your winter wardrobe, add pops of these colours with these incredible Australian designer pieces. We are so proud of our Australian fashion industry this year! They totally have their finger on the pulse and are putting the rest of the world to shame! Well done, guys!
So get behind them ladies. Without YOU spending on these beautiful items, your favourite brands will cease to exist and the incredible talent behind each and every one of these gorgeous pieces will never see the light of day. So support Australian, support small business and feel good about the contribution every one of your hard earned dollars is making to the Australian fashion industry, to small business and to the Australian economy. A huge proportion of Aussie families are employed by small to medium Australian businesses. It's your dollars and your support that puts food on tables. So keep the kindness going around ladies. It's a beautiful thing to do for your fellow humans!
Lots of love
Your Miko + Mollie team xx
